Ok so I'm new to the blogging world & new to Girl Scouting, well as far as being a troop leader that is. I decided to begin a blog to share my journey as a new Girl Scout troop leader & all the fun things we do as a troop as well as funny many stories.
So our 1st troop meeting was this past week & I must say that even though I knew everyone, I was still a bit nervous. All the girls seemed to have a good time & in the end I really enjoyed it as well. We made "Pinwheels for Peace" & they will be "planted" at a local library in the near future. Pictures to follow. The troop co-leader & I have so much planned & are excited about the year to come! The girls have no idea what is in store for them ! ;o) Anyway, the 1st meeting wasn't too terribly exciting, as it consisted of paperwork for the parents & loads of information for both the parents & girls. Our next meeting though, will be all about the girls! :o)
